Questions and answers
Can you share with us the story that made you realise your passion in fitness and in nutrition?
I have spent a lot of years trying to figure out the best way to stay healthy & lose fat without giving up my favourite foods. I spent hours improving my knowledge and that’s how I ended up pursuing my Master’s degree in nutrition and finally becoming a Transformation Specialist.
Could you elaborate how an individual can get rid of diseases with proper diet charts and exercises under your guidance.
My goal is to get my patients off conventional medicine. So, I propose a more HOLISTIC approach of getting fit & healthier by understanding their lifestyle & plan their meals accordingly. I like to call it “THE TRINITY APPROACH” which includes:
- DIET PLAN – cravings, aversions, 3main meals, 2-3 mid meal snacks.
- EXERCISE PROGRAMME – depends on the body type
MENTAL CONDITIONING – with the help of “RATIONAL EMOTIVE THERAPY.”
What are the major changes you find in people's awareness about living and eating healthy in the current times?
If there was ever a time that made us pay attention to our health, it has been this one of the COVID19 pandemic. People have realised that they need to take care of themselves, and eating a healthy diet &practicing food hygiene is one great way to do just that.
Tell us some of the struggles that you had to overcome during the starting days of your journey?
The biggest struggle is to change the mind-set of people about healthy eating. You don’t have to punish yourself to lose weight. People who are trying to achieve weight loss should not be fearful and scared while eating thinking that they will gain weight.
Obesity has been a recurring issue found mostly among the teenagers since the last 2 years due to the pandemic. What would be your suggestion on this and some of the ways to curb it?
SMALL CHANGES are a lot easier to stick than the drastic ones. For example, give up regular soda or reduce the size of the portions you eat. When you have that down, you can make other changes, like introducing healthier foods and exercises into your life. Apart from this I’d suggest you to just get going but go at your pace and don’t give into peer pressure
