At the beginning of June Jeff Bezos affirmed, he will set out for the trip to space. The trip is scheduled to start on July 20. Bezos declared that he will be on board when his rocket company Blue Origin launches its first crewed spaceflight, in New Shepard.
A petition titled, “Do not allow Jeff Bezos to return to Earth” has been signed by thousands of people. It further says, “Billionaires should not exist… on Earth, or in space, but should they decide the latter they should stay there.” The other petition asserts, “…he’s actually an evil overlord hellbent on global domination…”
