World Music Day
The word ‘Music’ itself seems magical to hear. It connects us with something that lies deeper within us, unknown. World Music Day comes every year on June 21, the day of the summer solstice. It was first celebrated in the year 1982 in France. Hence, the french word ‘Fete de la Musique’.
On this day, musicians all over the world are encouraged to perform. In some places, people also organize free music fests, jamming sessions and other musical events. As Maya Angelou says, ‘Everything in the universe has a rhythm, everything dances.’ The most comforting thing is knowing that we can never be short of beautiful rhythms in our life!
