The designer duo launched Collezione Genesi for the first time, a nine-piece NFT or non-fungible token collection, which was accounted for in collaboration with UNXD, a digital luxury and culture market. Collezione Genesi presented about five pieces – two dresses, a men’s suit, and two crowns which are physical creations designed by Dolce & Gabbana.
Also, they have digital versions that can be used in the metaverse – “a virtual environment where you can be present with people in digital spaces”, as quoted by Mark Zuckerberg.
Four items are wholesome virtual designs for the metaverse. The clothing apparel was crafted with a very grandeur and majestic appeal depicting inspiration from the Elizabethan era.
