Chris Evans named World’s sexiest man alive
Chris Evans is all set to bag the title of “People’s Sexiest Man Alive” for the year 2021, according to sources.
The publication is yet to make an official statement, but a Page Six report recently suggested that Chris Evans is to be named the People’s sexiest man alive for 2021.
The report also suggests that Chris was chosen to win the title last year (2020), however, the plans were changed after he mistakenly shared an explicit picture on his Instagram story.
“Chris was in discussions to take the [Sexiest Man Alive] cover last year, but it was not great timing,” a source told Page Six. The source also said that “bosses thought it was better to wait” until the online controversy dies.
However, another source claimed the explicit picture “had nothing to do with Chris not being named the 2020 Sexiest Man Alive” in the same report.

Last year, one of Chris Evans’ private picture was posted on his Instagram story. The actor took down the story when he noticed the story. However, by then the picture had made headlines and started trending on the internet.
Reactions
Dwayne Johnson, who was given the title in 2016, reacted to the news in an interview with the People magazine by saying he is the sexiest man alive forever.
“I am and will forever be sexiest man alive. Listen, my sexiest man alive title is in perpetuity. It’s for life. I don’t give it up. That means whoever you put on the cover, it doesn’t matter because I’m always going to be the sexiest man alive.”
Last year Michael B. Jordan won the title. In an interview while talking about the title, he said “It’s a cool feeling. You know everybody always made that joke, like, ‘Mike, this is the one thing you’re probably not going to get’. But it’s a good club to be a part of”.
In a blog written by Lainey, writer for “Dear Gossips”, says “I mean yeah. He checks all the boxes”. In the blog, she further explained how Chris Evans is recognizable as superheroes are never in niche, specially Captain America.
Chris just turned 40 so he is neither too old nor too young. He is of the perfect age for the title, she further added. All this means that we are getting an exclusive photoshoot and interview with Chris by next week.
“Also, probably an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! now a tradition with the Sexiest Man Alive feature.” joked Lainey in her blog.

Chris Evans who is known popularly as Marvel Superhero Captain America among his fans has done a lot in his career other than playing the popular “Mr. Morally Right” superhero. Chris Evans has also starred in movies like Gifted (2017), Knives Out (2019), and a television miniseries Defending Jacob (2020) among others.
He made his directorial debut in 2014 with the movie Before We Go.
The actor made his broadway debut in the revival of Kenneth Lonergan’s play Lobby Hero in 2018. This debut helped him earn a Drama League Award nomination.

These high payments from his movies have helped him further his philanthropical cause. Evans is a supporter of Christopher’s Haven, a charity focused at providing housing to families affected by childhood cancer.
In 2015, he and actor Chris Pratt visited patients in the Seattle Children’s Hospital after the two made a bet that eventually raised donations for the hospital as well as Christopher’s Haven.
In 2020, Evans organized a virtual fundraiser involving his Avengers Co-stars to benefit the organisations like Feeding America, Meals on wheels, World Central Kitchen, and No Kid Hungry.
