Katrina Kaif to marry Vicky Kaushal in December?
The latest Bollywood couple, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, who recently came under limelight for their relationship are now all set to tie the knot and settle down.
There has not been any confirmation given by the couple, however, it is rumoured that the biggest Bollywood wedding this year is set to be a three-day affair in Rajasthan in December.
While we cannot be sure of what is rumour and what is the truth, we can tell you about what we know so far about the wedding.
Dates
Actors Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are reportedly all set to tie the knot on 9th December and the entire grand wedding celebration will be held over 7th, 8th and 9th December.
While the couple continue to officially maintain silence over their upcoming wedding, according to reports, Vicky and Katrina had a roka ceremony at filmmaker Kabir Khan’s residence during Diwali and will first have a court marriage in Mumbai before their grand wedding in Rajasthan.
Venue
The Vicky-Katrina wedding will be held at Six Senses Fort Barwara, a resort in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan and approximately 200 guests are expected to attend the functions.
Privacy above all
The couple has opted for a no phone policy to keep the wedding ceremony a private affair. All the guests arriving at the venue will have to hand over their phones and cameras to a designated point during entry.
The onus to make sure no phone gets through falls on the event management team who will be responsible to make the spectacular wedding leak-proof.
Wedding Attire
Previously it was reported that the couple will be going all out with Sabyasachi ensembles for their big day, which has been the trend lately among popular celebrity weddings in India. But now it seems that their outfits aren’t going to be exclusively restricted to the designer.
As per Pinkvilla report, Katrina Kaif will be wearing an Abu Jani piece for her Mehendi, a Manish Malhotra lehenga for the sangeet and, finally, something from Gucci for the wedding reception itself. Vicky Kaushal on the other hand might be wearing Kunal Rawal and Raghavendra Rathore’s designs for both the Mehendi and sangeet.
The Sardar Udham star will eventually opt for something from Sabyasachi for the marriage reception.
A celebrity wedding is not complete without a special celebrity touch. To finish this “touch”, the Bollywood couple have opted for a special mehendi to be made specially for the wedding affair.
Special Mehendi
Also, a special mehendi from Sojat will be supplied for the bride-to-be and her guests for the pre-wedding ceremony. Suppliers of Sojat mehendi say that the mehendi will be handmade and completely natural for the Katrina-Vicky wedding. 20 kilos of mehendi powder and 400 henna cones will be sent to the venue. This is reportedly the same mehendi that was a part of Aishwarya Rai and Priyanka Chopra’s wedding as well.
Are these just rumours?
Upasana told Dainik Bhaskar that the couple won’t be tying the knot in December, contrary to the rumours that are spreading like wildfire. “Reports about preparations to the wedding dates are all rumours being spread in the media. The marriage is not taking place. If such a thing happens, they will announce it. In Bollywood, such rumours are often circulated and later it turns out that it was something else. They are just temporary rumours. I had a talk with my brother recently. There is nothing like that. I don’t want to comment on this issue anymore, but the marriage is not taking place at the moment,” said Upasana.
