Sushant Singh Rajput, the youth icon whose death gripped the entire nation in shock is being fondly remembered today as January 21 marks the late actor’s 36^thbirth anniversary. From family to bollywood celebrities to fans- his memories are etched in everyone’s hearts forever as they remember Sushant on this day.

Sushant- the rarest of all

The void that the death of Sushant created can never be filled but the legacy that he left behind will always be cherished by his fans. From playing Manav in Pavitra Rishta to becoming Sushant- the star, he won everybody’s hearts and surprisingly he did it totally on his own. In his 14 years career, he touched all the heights of success. However, this was no miracle or overnight success saga.

Sushant’s Demise

The year 2020 will always be looked back as a year of traumas and chaos. About June, just when people were trying to deal with the covid frenzy, there arrived the most dreadful news of Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide which shook everybody. The actor was found dead in his residence and post mortem reports as well revealed that he succumbed to asphyxiation.

Nepotism and the angst against it

No sooner didSushant was found death than reports and theories of nepotism existing in Bollywood and Sushant being the target of it swept the social media by storm. From Karan Johar to Sonam Kapoor to every other star kid, all of these people were randomly accused, threatened and held responsible for his suicide.
Social media was bubbling with rage and hatred against the leading Bollywood figures. Also, there were people like Kangana Ranaut, political leaders who never let go of any moment to gain limelight in the name of the deceased actor.

CBI enquiry and Media

Soon, CBI enquiry was called in to investigate if there was any foul play. Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was particularly taken in custody which entailed a long questioning session. Later, the drug soon came to light which further aggravated this case and the hope for justice. Several Bollywood celebrities including Deepika Padukone, Rakulpreet Singh were also summoned in the drug case also. The way the media houses handled this sensitive issue was highly condemnable. They crossed every limits to an extent where it seemed to be denying the basic human rights. They ran after Deepika’s car, made it a habit to gather outside Rhea’s house, tarnished her image and what not. However, even after in-depth enquiry no evidence of any foul play was confirmed.

Sushant’s sister’s heartfelt note

On this special day, Sushant’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti dedicated a video which featured several highlights and moments of him being in the best mood. Appreciating the video, she wrote, “My God! What a beautiful compilation. A Very Happy Birthday to Bhai. We will try and fulfil all your dreams @sushantsinghrajput, your legacy will live on. Thanks to the Pro Team, you guys have done an incredible job”

Fans poured in love and wishes for Sushant

In the beloved memory of Sushant, his fans showered abundant love on him and celebrated his birth anniversary as ‘Sushant Day’. A fan wrote, “Wish you a very Happy Birthday Sushant. You are very much alive in our hearts. #SushantSinghRajput
(sic).
Another user posted, “Eternal and always a star !!! The real hero , the one who touched millions of hearts without any nonsense and show offs but true care , humility and concern. One in a million eternal gem @itsSSR The real hero in true sense, shining star always Red heart #SushantSinghRajput #SushantDay (sic).” 

Bollywood celebs remembered their co-actor

Bollywood still mourns the death of Sushant and is fondly remembered by his co-actors. Anushka Sharma who was paired against him in PK posted a picture of him on her story and wrote, “In remembrance”. Shuddh Desi Romance actor Vaani Kapoor also shared a photo writing, “Remembering you on your birthday”. Kangana Ranaut, who has been vocal about him post his death, also wished the late actor. Sharing a picture of him with a telescope, Kangana wrote, “Happy Birthday to this star in the sky”.
