Love has its way to find you. And, we found love when we were not even looking for it. We were in the same class but Shivangi joined one or two months later. So, till that time, I was elected as the class delegate.
When she first joined the class, she was sitting beside me. And the funny part is, I bumped into her asking for her number. It was apparently for the common class group. So I got her number from there and then we gradually became friends. We were a bunch of 12-14 friends. Thus we always hung out together. We laughed together, roamed places, and most importantly made memories in all those lanes. We were gripped into our college lives and meanwhile took a trip to another journey, a journey of love. Our just friendship eventually evolved into best friends and then after one and a half years, we confessed our love to each other. Our relationship is the best gift I have ever received from the divine. And, I was so eager to marry her that I told my parents, “She will be your bahu” and they were fine with it. However, Shivangi had to struggle a little. Her younger brother told her parents about our relationship and her mother had certain concerns. Now when I look back, I feel all of their raised concerns were quite valid as in the end they all only loved Shivangi. But the best part is that we worked out! It all happened in 2021. We had been waiting for that one day all our lives and it was finally happening. The feeling at that point was pure bliss.
Our life has been a beautiful ride and we wanted to encapsulate all of it. We decided to have snaps and videos of every bit of our magical moments. And that’s how our journey as @kshitiz started on Instagram. We have had many ups and downs and our share of hard times but we were determined to make it work and we did.
The only thing I wish to convey to people through our story is that ‘Love always finds you’. You only need to be open to allowing it enter and redefine your life.
