Maapi Thind: Do or die. Do not cry.

I belonged to a middle-class family and had started working when I was 19-year-old. I would earn 6k then and lived a simple life with a desire to move mountains. My family could hardly afford my fees, there were days when we had no food to eat at home.  I used to walk for long distances to save money. Today, a lot work their asses off to a 9 to 5 job, but that was just not me. I wanted to make a difference, and this is how the hustle had started.

I had a destination to reach and a purpose and goal to achieve. Not many people work on themselves as much as they work for others. For me it was the exact opposite. I had a few setbacks too but I have never perceived my problems as problems; all of them are learning experiences. There was a time in my life when I was demotivated but never thought of giving up. I approached my mentors, used all the resources, and learned and read as much as possible. I had a team with just five employees at the start, and we were all raw. Constructing a roadmap and training my team from scratch and basics was a daunting task.

My biggest strength was decision-making. I used to work on my thoughts and convert them into actions.Starting with a few employees at the age of 19, I today own a US-based company Forever Living, with a team of more than 2000 employees today. Forever Business is a Networking Business. To all the people starting on their own, the only message I want to give is Do or Die, Do Not Cry.

It might be easy to have all the success you want, but it is not going to be easy to sustain that success, and that is what you have to work on.
