Questions and answers

What turn of events led you to embark upon your spiritual journey, and how did it solemnize your belief system?

When I was seven and a half years old, my mother died of cancer and I had heard many people make predictions by the placement of different things in our home, based on astrological predictions, etc and comment to explain this devastating tragedy as we have shifted to this new house just 4 to 5 years ago. This piqued my curiosity and compelled me to learn and research the logic behind the subject, and that’s how I embarked upon my spiritual journey.

You mentioned that you attained knowledge of ancient Vedic wisdom like Astrology and Vastu under the guidance of prominent Gurus. Could you tell us a bit more about this phase and your daily life change during this period?

To be honest, there weren’t many significant changes in my life when I was learning Astro-Vastu, as people think. I discovered how to direct my clients and strive for their betterment when I first began learning about Astro-Vastu Remedies. I’ve been meditating daily since then, performing sadhanas, doing chakra meditation which has made a big difference in me and my family life. When we interact with our subconscious mind, we connect with ourselves more deeply. My view of life changed with a positive feeling and energy surrounding me. Other than that, there are no changes in my daily routines.

What was the reaction of your friends and family when you told them about your decision to step into the path of spirituality while also using it to help others?

My family has always been supportive of my passions and encouraged me to follow them. My friends, on the other hand, were skeptical. They couldn’t believe how dedicated I was to this field of study. They weren’t expecting me to do something like this.

One of the most controversial elements when it comes to Vaastu Shatra is placing the Laughing Buddha at home and different Vastu experts have provided different opinions on it over time. What is your view on this?

On a serious note, the Indian Vastu Shastra does not have the concept of Laughing Buddha. It is a Chinese concept that is only remotely applicable to those that believe in Fengshui remedies. However, there is no remedial aspect of Laughing Buddha in Indian Vastu Shastra.

Your clients have been appreciative of the efforts you have put into making their lives better. Could you tell us one such incident when a client whom you helped moved and motivated you?

One such memorable incident is about a married couple who didn’t believe/or know much about Vastu or Astro-Vastu but came to me as they were unable to conceive even if they are not having any medical issue. I told them to bring their to the scale house plan/gridded plan of the house based on Vastu and understood the flaws. In addition, I noticed that their bedroom was in the South of South West (SSW) and South West (SW) zone which is the Earth Element zone where they have painted light green color and the position of the bed is in the South-South West zone which is considered as the zone of disposal according to Vastu. This is the ideal place for toilet/disposal activity. It’s a study in Vastu that Air element is considered as the anti-element for the Earth element and the Green color is related to the Air element, and they act opposite to each other. I suggested some changes and remedies in their living space and after a while, they were able to conceive.

When were you first struck by the idea to author your book "Breaking Vastu Myths, Not Your Home," and why if you decide to make it available in the e-book format as well?

The idea of writing a book struck me when I encountered some folks who believe all of these things are insignificant and untrue. Every issue has scientific solutions which people are unaware of. That’s why I came up with the idea of typically listing the stuff and carefully compiling the information in the book to educate people about them. During the lockdown, I considered releasing this in e-book format as well.

How did the lockdown affect your work, and what role did spirituality play in keeping your lockdown blues at bay?

The lockdown did have an impact on me. This was when I cultivated my knowledge and focused on my learning, and discovered a lot of new information. In addition, whenever I receive graded proposals from my clients through e-mail, I use them to send them solutions. I’ve been doing this for a year, guiding them through the necessary changes they need to incorporate and it has improved their lives a lot better. The lockdown gave an opportunity to me. My daily meditation and sadhana provided me the required strength and wisdom to beat the lockdown blues. This was when I enhanced my knowledge and focused on my learning and discovered a lot of new information. In addition, I provided solutions to my clients over e-mail by analysing the gridded plan/map of their home received through e-mail. I’ve been doing this for more than 3 years, guiding them through the necessary changes they need to incorporate and it has improved their lives a lot better.
