Aditya Chaddha: My scent of success
It has always been my aim to conduct myself such that I would stand out from the crowd and bring pride to my parents. Chasing one’s dreams requires resilience, hard work and persistence, and I was all up for it. I had the taste of success by the young age of 16 and I’m proud to share my story so that it inspires generations to come.
By the time I was 13, I had developed a knack for business which I believed to be an intellectual sport that would push to towards a successful life. It was this belief and my passion to have my own business that enabled me to initiate and indulge in multiple business ventures. However, the lack of experience in the practical field hindered me from running my business smoothly. But unlike most people who quit and choose the easier path of opting for a 9-5 job, I refused to give up on my dreams. I strived to learn from my mistakes, reaching out to my mentors and delving myself into books and research.
My family supported me financially to start drop-shipping and several other ventures that turned out to be great successes. But I was still not satisfied. I closed all my stores overnight and searched for different investment opportunities. My attention was grasped by the jewellery industry, leading me to build my empire – AC Jeweler. I hired my team but building a brand image for such a business proved to be a strenuous task. Despite all challenges, the branding began on 5 January 2021, and proved a huge success, leading me to operate this business on a larger scale, thereby growing my business. One of the biggest reasons for the success of the business turned out to be my team that did a marvellous job of providing the customers with the best products and services. This grand success made me decide to take and polish my skills to the next level to improve my business.
My mother and her prayers have been the greatest boon to my success, and without her, I would never have been able to do anything. Her love and support are what kept me going, turned me into a strong person and acted as a shield against all the hurdles that came my way. Well, I do not know whether my story has inspired you, but I am sure it will motivate you to do ‘YOU’ and go after what you love.
