Ashutosh Gujarathi: A step of determination!

I was doing decently in life before I decided to commence my business. Being a merchant navy officer, it was a tough call for me to leave this job which was paying me quite well. However, I come from a family of businessmen and so the urge to start a venture was in my blood. 

I took a step forward with great determination. But, as they say, life is no fairytale. I joined my family-owned transport system and ventured into exports in 2017 with no funding or backup. A business needs time and it was tough for me to pay attention to my venture as I was sailing for merchant ships for 4 to 6 months at a go. There was no alternative other than to leave my job so I leaped from faith and invested my time only in my business. Thereafter, Gujarathi Empire Shipping came into existence. Initially, we came across several lapses. We encountered financial problems which lead to wrong hiring. It was difficult for me to align everything systematically because my partners deceived me. Thus, my initial journey is inundated with hardships, betrayal, and losses. But, I was determined to make it all work, and despite all the setbacks, today we stand firm. From lows to highs, we have built our credibility and today I take pride in the decision I made years ago.

Gladly, we have attained all the small targets that we outline for ourselves and we are moving forward with this legacy. Thus, from starting from zero to accomplishing dreams. Now I know that life will bear flowers to your plant if you keep dampening it with hard work, consistency, and discipline.
