Indian Television actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee has dropped in a joyous news of her being engaged to actor Vishal Singh. The duo appeared in the Star Plus TV Serial, Saath Nibhana Saathiya.

Devoleena and Vishal first met each other on the TV show, Saath Nibhana Saathiya in which the actress played the role of his sister-in-law. Well, that was all about their on-screen appearance but their off-screen equation seems to hint at a love angle. The love-struck couple never uttered a word about their relationship although speculations were doing the rounds and the actress herself admitted to be dating someone while she was in the Bigg Boss 15 show. Vishal even made a special appearance on Weekend ka Waar where he openly rooted for her lady love. It was only this Wednesday that they made the official announcement of their relationship on Instagram.

Is it a yes?

We all know being in love is an inexplicable feeling and it seems Devoleena and Vishal is having the true taste of it. Sharing the biggest happiness of her life, Devoleena flaunted a huge solitaire ring while striking a pose in her boyfriend’s arms. They looked extremely happy and in one of the pictures Vishal could be seen going down on his knees with a flower bouquet in one hand and a proposal ring in the other. Taking to Instagram, Vishal shared few adorable pictures and wrote, “It’s official Love you @devoleena” to which the actress reciprocated her share of feelings, “Yayyy…Finallyyyy…I love you Vishuuu.”

Huge outpour of love

As soon as the couple shared the news, congratulatory wishes and blessings swept into the comments section. Singer Abhijeet Sawant commented, “Congratulations brother♥” Vandana Vittlanee, their former co-star also wished them well. A section of their fans could not believe that it’s official, many even doubted the authenticity of the announcement and wrote if the news is true while others were totally in awe of the couple. 

Devoleena’s recent injury 

Post her eviction from Bigg Boss 15, the actress underwent nerve decompression surgery as she injured herself during a strenuous task. She kept her fans updated about her recovery and shared a thoughtful post along with a video. “My BB15 journey was a roller coaster ride. I went through a lot of ups & downs be it mentally, physically or emotionally. As you all know, I got injured during the pole task and suffered from a complete foot drop. Post my BB15 eviction, I had to go with immediate nerve decompression surgery”, she wrote. She left a piece of her heart while sharing her emotional turmoil as she further added, “Well that was the time where my confidence was completely shattered and I didn’t know how to deal with it without my mom or brother around me and had no time to think over it (not even a day), so i immediately went through the surgery. In this difficult time my willpower and my faith in god was my strength.”

The dramatic twist

Many were elated, some were left shocked but the entire fuss ended up on a dramatic note when the duo admitted that they have pulled a prank on their fans. During a live session on Instagram, Devoleena and Vishal confessed that they are not engaged in a relationship and the story is altogether different. They shared that they will be working together in a music video  which will centred around love, marriage and relationship and revealed that the name of the song is “It’s official.” The two thanked their fans for their immense love and blessings.
