Questions and answers
What intrigued your passion to start a spiritual journey while working as a textile designer?
I worked for 8-10 years in the textile industry. However, I was always inquisitive about the other world- The world of the tarot and how it works, as I come from a healer’s family. Even though I was kept away from it, I believe my curious nature and connection with the universe, made me bid adieu to the professional world of textile and step into the world of tarot and spiritual learning.
Could you share the concept of Mudita and how it is beneficial to an individual?
Mudita is a Sanskrit word that means “I am happy unconditionally in your happiness”. There is no English word for it. Growing up with my mother, I have always resonated with her ideology and philosophy. So, while deciding the name, we chose Mudita by Dr. Shivani Khetan. The main objective is to be yourself and believe in yourself. Rather than changing the person, we believe in helping and listening to them. Hence, Mudita is a place for people to kickstart a positive journey whenever they feel lost, helpless, or hopeless.
How is the process of hypnotherapy and hypnosis different and what differences can it bring in someone's life?
Hypnotherapy is a technique whereas hypnosis acts as an aid in the treatment of specific symptoms of a health condition. It helps people to override situations or habits that are blocking any kind of growth in life. Hypnosis is a state where an individual may be doing work but is not aware of the surroundings.
How can tarot connect one individual to their inner wisdom from the core? Could you explain the process to us?
Tarot is a set of 78 cards that are used for guidance for future and current situations that are blocking the person’s understanding of the direction they can take guidance for, in life. However, my personal opinion is that the tarot card reflects the client’s current energetic state, thoughts, feelings, emotions that are busy creating their experiences of life. You do not need any tarot reader or astrologer for guidance. With Shivani’s Healing Touch Tarot Deck, one can take guidance and work on the answers received to improve the quality of their life.
What is Chakra Clearing and how is Om related to it?
The seven main Chakras are – the Root Chakra, the Sacral Chakra, the Solar Chakra, the Heart Chakra, the Throat Chakra, the Third Eye Chakra, and the Crown Chakra. So when these Chakras get blocked due to any reason, our body starts to function differently. Balancing Chakra is a good way to organize yourself and boost your mental health. Also, Om is a song of the Universe and a wonderful mantra to chant and listen to which connects your mind, body, and soul and recharges your energy and space. Listen to Om frequency of 432 hertz for 10-15 minutes and you’ll notice a change yourself!
What are some of the life mantras you would want to convey to the readers?
The first would be to be disciplined and plan a daily routine and schedule it for your everyday lifestyle. If you have a routine, you have a path to follow. The second is to know your philosophy. If you know your philosophy, you will know yourself and what you want from life, because the purpose in life can change but your philosophy will not. So, the mantra is to believe in yourself, be your leader, work hard to understand what makes you unique. I take inspiration from Mother Teresa’s saying- “Not all of us can do great things, but we can do small things with great love”. Self-love, gratitude, and forgiveness is the best way to heal yourself and celebrate life every day. One can recite the Ho’oponopono prayer which means “I’m sorry, Please forgive me, I love you, Thank you” to release whatever is not working for them and remove the clutter from one’s mind, body, space, and soul.
Would you like to tell us something about your book?
My book “Tarot- A Healing Tool in Modern Times” is the first coffee-table book on the Tarot which has been honored in the Golden Book of World Records. It postulates Tarot as a healing tool and is about transforming lives using the Vedic Beej Mantra. The book came into existence because I strongly believe that if you know yourself, you do not require going to professionals for future predictions. The book has a condensed form of about 19 workshops that one can follow every day and end by chanting a beej mantra. It comes with a deck named ‘Shivani Healing Touch Tarot Deck’ where each card has a healing message for your daily guidance. The book will take you on an inner journey and help you remove any suppressed emotions, work on releasing old belief systems and give you a million reasons to smile and celebrate life in the present moment.
