Honey Singh or as he is popularly known as ‘Yo Yo Honey Singh’ is currently facing legal action. His wife Shalini Singh has filed a domestic violence case against her husband. Shalini allegedly declared that she is suffering from constant domestic abuse as well as adultery in her marriage.
Honey Singh was a musical sensation of his time. He had numerous party numbers in his name. The rapper made his debut with the album ”International Villager’ in 2010. He also made hit songs in films like ‘Chennai Express’ and ‘Boss’.The artist judged a reality TV show – India’s Raw Star, wherein he introduced his wife publicly for the first time. From 2014, the rapper took a break from the industry for 18 months. Afterwards, he hasn’t grabbed the public’s attention until now.
Honey Singh Had Casual Sex With Multiple Women: Plea by Wife Shalini Singh
The rapper’s wife has filed a 120-page long plea listing multiple accusations against her husband and in-laws. She claims that she was suffering from verbal, mental and physical abuse at the hands of her husband, mother in law, father in law and sister in law. Not only this, Shalini asserts that her spouse used to have casual sex with women.
Because of his extramarital affairs, he was reluctant in accepting his marital status. For this, he even avoided wearing their wedding ring. The rapper came up with the excuse that diamonds are particularly unlucky for him. Shalini described her woes by an incident when she was ‘mercilessly beaten’ because their wedding pictures were leaked. The singer allegedly harassed his wife as he believed that she leaked them.
Now the singer’s wife has spoken up. She filed a case at the Tis Hazari Court in Delhi on 3rd August. She has sought monetary compensation under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act. Through the court, Shalini further demanded a monthly rent of Rs 5 Lakh from the rapper.
