Karishma Tanna engaged to Varun Bangera in secret
Karishma Tanna, famed from Bigg boss and Naagin, has recently engaged her rumoured boyfriend Varun Bangera in secret and will soon be tying the knot, according to rumours floating around.
But what gave a nudge to these rumours is the Instagram story uploaded by her friend of the duo together that sparked her engagement rumour. The actress also put up a gram story of ‘Congratulations’ But so far nothing has been made official by the actress.
In now-viral picture shared by the actress’s friend, Kairshma is seen in Varun’s arms. She is dressed in a casual, oversized T-shirt, while Varun wore a black T-shirt. They are smiling while looking into each other’s eyes. The actress’s friend wrote alongside the picture on Instagram, “To infinity and beyond….. Congratulations babies.”
The actress is currently vacationing in Dubai. The actress had taken a short break from the world of glamour and tiring shoots to spend some quality time.
It was rumoured back then that she has found her special someone and would be settling down soon. Today, it seems the rumours were true all along and her “special someone” was none other than Varun Bangera. Varun Bangera is a real-estate businessman.
The couple have so far been able to keep their relationship a secret from the world but now it seems like the time for both of them to come out and clear the area around their relationship status.
According to various web portals, the engagement was done in the presence of close family and friends of the couple. It was a discreet affair.

Karishma Tanna made her debut in one of the longest running TV drama “Kyuki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi…” in 2001. She is well known for her roles in “Baalveer” and “Qayamat Ki Raat”.
Karishma Tanna rose to prominence and became a household name in India after appearing on the famous reality TV show Bigg Boss Halla Bol (Season 7) in 2014. She went onto become a runner up of the show.
She later went onto participate in many other reality TV shows in India over the next years. She also appeared in other reality shows like “Nach Baliye 7” (2015) and “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9” (2016). In 2020, she participated and emerged as the winner of “Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 10”.
She has also appeared on “Zara Nachke Dikha” (2008).
She made an early debut in Bollywood with the role of Nandini Thapar in Suneel Darshan’s Dosti: Friends Forever which was released in 2006.
In 2013, she was seen in Indra Kumar’s successful comedy Grand Masti. In June 2018, she featured for a short role in Rajkumar Hirani’s biopic of Sanjay Dutt titled Sanju starring Ranbir Kapoor, Dia Mirza and Paresh Rawal among other actors like Vicky Kaushal. The same year she entered digital world with ALT Balaji’s web series Karrle Tu Bhi Mohabbat as Zoya Hussain.
Dating Life
Earlier, Karishma Tanna was dating actor Upen Patel and the two professed love for each other on the reality show Bigg Boss 7.
She was also engaged to him but the duo eventually parted ways for reasons not made public. Talking about it with Hindustan Times in 2017, Karishma had said, “That’s a part of your life. I don’t know what future holds, so I live in the present moment. Definitely, I was hopeful and positive about a lot of things but if they didn’t happen, there must have been for a reason for that. It’s very difficult to accept the fact, but then you have to move on in life.”
