Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s fans will have to wait some more to see their favourite couple in wedding attire. While both Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal have kept a tight lip about their future, a rumour started circulating about their secret engagement in August.
The couple has been rumoured to be together since 2019, though it has never been confirmed by them. The couple is often seen together.
Recently, a news reported hinted at the couple finally tying the knot in December of this year. It was rumoured that the couple had roped in Sabyasachi Mukherjee to design their wedding attire.
Adding fuel to fire, Vicky and Katrina paid a visit to celebrity manager Reshma Shetty, they both later left in separate cars.
However, in a recent interview to BollywoodLife, Katrina denied any such rumours of her marrying Vicky Kaushal at the end of this year.
On being asked why she thinks the rumours must have started, Katrina replied, “That’s a question I have for the last 15 years.”
Katrina Kaif recently joined Vicky Kaushal for the special screening of his movie “Sardar Udham”. A video of them hugging at the venue was widely shared on social media.
Katrina Kaif praised Vicky’s performance in the movie on her Instagram account.
“@shoojitsircar what a vision, such a gripping beautiful film, pure unadulterated storytelling – @vickykaushal is just pure talent, raw, honest, heartbreaking,” she wrote on her Instagram story while praising the movie.
Vicky Kaushal’s reactions to rumours
Earlier in August, when Katrina and Vicky’s engagement rumours started doing rounds, they were denied by the team of Katrina. However, no response was given by the actor or his team.
In a recent radio interview, Vicky was asked why he doesn’t react to such stories or rumours, the actor responded by saying that
“To be honest, mere paas woh mental space hi nahi tha (I didn’t have the mental space), because I was right in the middle of a shoot… Funnily enough, what happens is, these rumours start at 9 o’clock in the morning by the media and by 4.30, the media only negates the same rumours and says ‘no, it’s not true’. So, you don’t have to do anything,” he told radio host Siddharth Kannan, adding, “I had my blinders on, on my work, and I keep focusing on work.”
Last month during an interview with ETimes, the actor upon being questioned about the rumours blamed the paparazzies for creating a fuss and starting a rumour.
The actor further said he will get engaged soon enough when the time is right. That time will also come, said the actor.

The couple is allegedly together since 2019. The rumours first started when at Koffee with Karan’s last season in 2019, Katrina replied to host Karan Johar’s one of the questions by saying that she thinks she will look good with Vicky.
Since than the fans have been gushing over the celebrity couple. The fact that they are often seen together also adds heat to stories and rumours. Latest being about their wedding plans in December.
With so many actors and actresses marrying secret, it is only normal of people to hype up even baseless rumours. However, it is understandable why actresses and actors choose to marry in secret as it gives them more privacy.
