The West Indies vs South Africa series is the latest topic of the cricketing world. West Indies and South Africa were competing against each other in the 4th T20I match. South Africa lost the 4th T20I to West Indies. On Thursday, West Indies kept alive the hope of winning T20I as they beat South Africa by 21 runs. Furthermore, South Africa won the toss. They opted to bowl during the first innings against West Indies.
The West Indies opener Lendl Simmons put 47 runs on the scoreboard. Consequently, Simmons hit eight boundaries including four sixes and four fours. The skipper Kieron Pollard remained true to his big-hitting form. Accordingly, he was unbeaten and scored 51 runs. Pollard registered five sixes and two fours on his name. Thereupon, West Indies was able to put up a match-winning total of 167 runs on the scoreboard.
After that coming to the chasing part, wickets kept falling at the South African side. However, Quinton de Kock managed to score 60 off 43 balls. Without a doubt, de Kock was the top scorer. Remarkably, Dwayne Bravo took four wickets while giving 19 runs.
Summing up, South Africa was leading the series earlier. Therefore, West Indies had additional pressure as the score was 2-1. But after the 4th T20I concluded, both the teams now need to win the next game. After all, West Indies has registered a series-levelling win!
